Rare Vintage Mercedes VIP 1000 Jewelry Box. These were from the 60's and were a promotion for the 1st VIP 1000 customers. Ref felt lined interior and bottom. Grill on top of box has two hood badges one saying Grand-Prix and the other saying International. The international badge is scratched. Leather is in good shape but is starting to curl a little at the trim edges.and a few marks on the leather that may be able to be cleaned up. Box is 1.75" tall to side. My research suggests there were only 1000 of these made, however I can not find it numbered anywhere on the box. jrb.
