#31 • Reggie & Flossie Meaders - Man with Red Hat

Part of Clayton Winter Pottery Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $90.00

Status: Sold

6.75"T brown glaze face 'jug' with goofy facial features, white clay teeth and eyes with dark brown centers. Interestingly, this guy has a 'friend' behind his left ear - a small partial face. They both look happy so whatever the relationship - it works. Incised hair and handle on the back of his head. There's no spout per se but there is a small hole in the top of hat. Red glazed hat with 'rope' hatband. Signed on bottom Reggie Flossie Meaders. Excellent condition. f
