#53 • 3 Noel Benedict Highly Detailed Mini Face Jugs

Part of Clayton Winter Pottery Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $90.00

Status: Sold

The smallest measures 1.75"H and the other two are 2"H. Especially considering this diminutive size, the amount of detail in all three is amazing. First is a devil face jug in brown glaze with two red horns, brown eyes with the whites showing, prominent nose, cleft chin and open mouth. Next is a tan and brown with a gray cat face that has two ears, a furrowed brow, blue eyes and whiskers. Last is the smaller one and is a brown jug with a fish face with individual scales, eyes and a tiny nose. It looks like the Creature from the Black Lagoon. All are signed "JB" on the base and are undamaged. KS
