#54 • 3 Noel Benedict Highly Detailed Mini Face Jugs

Part of Clayton Winter Pottery Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $49.00

Status: Sold

The smallest measures 1 1/8"H, one is 1.75"H and the tallest is 2"H. Especially considering this diminutive size, the amount of detail in all three is amazing. All three are birds - two eagles and another bird. The smallest and tallest are medium brown jugs with eagle faces that have individual feathers, furrowed brows and yellow beaks. The last is a high gloss brown jug with a bird face that has surprised eyes, a hook beak and pinkish feathers with curled ends. All three are marked "NB" on the base and are undamaged. KS
