#56 • Noel Benedict Tall Handled Lettered Face Mug

Part of Clayton Winter Pottery Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $19.00

Status: Sold

Fun and interesting 4 7/8" tall handled mug that tapers from top to bottom. There is a miniature head at the top of the handle with a look on it's face that is similar to what most of us look like before that first cup of coffee in the morning. The mug has graduating color from light to dark brown and is stamped with randomly placed M's, W's and E's. It is signed "Noel Benedict" on the base and does have three spots where the glaze did not take, which could be intentional. It has no damage. KS
