#68 • Mildred Meaders 2005 #2 Piggy Bank on Firing Brick

Part of Clayton Winter Pottery Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $112.00

Status: Sold

Cute little piggy bank with upturned triangle ears, protruding snout and ring tail. Looks like the glazes dripped onto the firing brick so that section of the brick now goes with the pig. Coin slot on the top and hole underneath to retrieve coins. It is marked under the tail "Mildred Meaders 05 #2 Piggy" along with the number 2 inside a triangle inside a circle. It is in good condition without damage and measures 6.75"H x 5.75"L. KS
