Very nice horseshoe shaped top handled jug in a hard to find blue gray color. It is stamped in red near the base "Stiles Patent Recherche Cleveland, O. Pat May 10, 189?" The exact year cannot be made out but other examples of this jug with the same stamp are 1892. The edges of the sides of the jug are in the shape of a horseshoe complete with "nails." It has a few rim chips but is in overall very good condition for its age. It measures 7.5"H x 6"W x 3.5"D. KS
