This wonderful 2-toned half gallon jug - Albany slip on the top and cream/white beneath - is marked in cobalt "R. H. Macy & Co. New York Net Contents One Half Gallon." RH Macy & Co, more commonly know as just Macy's today, was started in 1858 by Rowland Hussey Macy and has since become an iconic American business, even hosting the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. This is an early jug in excellent condition with only a few tiny places where the Albany slip didn't adhere - no chips or cracks. It measures 9"H and 5 3/8" in diameter at the base. KS
