#25 • Huge! XXL Wooden Blanket Chest w/Iron Handles

Part of Blue Gallery Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $66.00

Status: Sold

Awesome double board chest! XXL wooden chest with interesting thin hand dovetailing. Square nails, and iron handles. Natural shrinkage noted, still in awesome shape for age! Bottom has about 1" thick wood that's fit together like "tongue and groove" - Some older moisture exposure seen inside on bottom. Doesn't seem to have bothered this awesome piece! It's a HUGE chest about 29"H x 43"W x 30"D. Big enough to hold at least a dozen thick blankets it seems! Aging nicely. ~ AZ
