Absolutely lovely vintage broach or pin with brass/gold toned metal ribbon over a ships wheel with a watch dangling from it that has the watch with glass or crystal over a bronze toned metal face on one side and an enameled rose on the front with alternating light and darker aqua rays behind it. It is hinged in such a way that the wearer can lift the watch to see the time and then lower to have the rose facing forward again. The watch is made by Banner of Switzerland and belonged to the consignor's Mother-In-Law. The crystal watch cover has a faceted beveled edge, adding to the charm. Consignor states it has seven jewels. With the exception of some very slight tarnish and a missing hour hand, it is in good physical condition. When wound, it runs for a couple of seconds before stopping. This pin measures 2.5" L and 1.5"W at the widest part of the ribbon. KS
