#24 • Pair of Toyo Lidded & Footed Painted Jars

Part of Blue Gallery End of 2024 Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $48.00

Status: Sold

Unusual pair of Painted Toyo Jars / Urns designed by famous designer Raymond Waites. Raymond just passed away last year. Eclecticly painted design of flowers and peacock feathers. At 25½" tall to the lids, these are big guys that make a statement. All ceramic design, I'm amazed the feet show no wear, except on their bottoms. No chips, cracks, just a tiny spot (1/8") of missing paint on the top rim of one of the jars.
