High bid $100.00

Status: Sold

The wooden chairs are hand painted in a Tole Ware style. Blue and Black with Gold painted accents. Cane bottom chairs are approx 33"H x 17"W x 15.5" D each. Painted many years ago, the paint shows wear and chipping in areas. Chairs are in good shape. Lot includes a small child's rocker that also has Toleware style painting on it. Hand painted with personalization underneath. The chair was gifted in 1959 yet looks to be much older. It's possible as the chair was gifted by the child's Great grandparents. The wear and craftsmanship suggests it's early 1900's. Thick chamfered seat, slender spindled back. Chair has a dark brown black paint slightly visible with Pennsylvania Dutch florals and gold painted accents. Curled ends on arms. Super Cute! Looks like a mini Windsor rocking chair. Age appropriate wear. ~Az
