#35 • Clucking Hen Noise Maker, Chicken Nodder & Egg

Part of White Gallery - Vintage & Collectible Toys - Part 1 (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $16.00

Status: Sold

Three nice chicken themed vintage items. First there is a 1936 "The Clucking Chicken" 5"H cardboard tube with a chalkware chicken and eggs on the top and a handle on the side which, when cranked, sounds like a chicken clucking - a few short and then a long. Graphics on the tube are of storks bringing babies. Very tip of the chickens crest is chipped. Next is a 4.5"H chalkware chicken nodder with its head attached by a wire, which is in very good vintage condition and has painted accents. Last is a 2.25"H tin litho Easter egg made by Haji of Japan with very nice graphics. KS
