#36 • 3 Vintage Wind Up Turtles & 1 Wind Up Frog

Part of White Gallery - Vintage & Collectible Toys - Part 1 (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $28.00

Status: Sold

Four nice vintage wind up tin litho toys - 3 turtles and a frog. The frog is made by Kokyu of Japan and hops when wound - nice graphics and works well. The turtles are all different but all walk and the head moves back and forth when wound. First is a green and yellow turtle marked "Made in Japan" that has very light wear and good graphics and works. Next is a red, yellow and green turtle marked "Made in U.S.A." that works but has wear and some rust. Last is an olive green, black and muted orange turtle that is made in Japan that has nice graphics and light wear but does not work. It tries to work but does not quite. KS
