Part of Red Gallery - Memorial Day Extravaganza Auction - Day 2 (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $132.00

Status: Sold

Late 1800's round wooden dry measure storage boxes. There are Four boxes in total in this lot. Three can be used to stack as they have lids. The box with galvanized metal straps is in original mustard yellow finish, does not have a lid. Two of the boxes are in their original blue buttermilk paint (one is a heavy cheese box) The box with oak grain is marked "LH Dennis" on it's sides. The inside bottom of box is also marked but hard to decipher. Looks to read "GAGE- Henniker, NH" - This box has a lid but it's not original. The Dennis box is about 7"W - The largest with metal strappings is approx 9"W - Normal age use and wear. Good primitive farmhouse boxes! ~Az
