This is a fantastic lot of an antique three gallon R.M. Rose Co. Distillers of Atlanta, GA (circa 1870s). Rufus Mathewson Rose originally from Connecticut moved to Macon, GA where he built a company that still exist today in Mount Airy, Georgia (https://pre-prowhiskeymen.blogspot.com/search?q=R.M.+Rose+Co). The jug has a salt glaze, cork stopper, loop handle and marked on the front - "3, R.M. Rose Co. Distillers, Atlanta". Measures approximately - 9.75" x 15". Item shows appropriate wear due to age & use. AA.
