H.C. Valentine & Co. Hepplewhite style barrel back corner china cabinet with simple fluted accents - creating an elegant charm. H.C. Valentine & Co, no longer in business but operating in the early to mid-1900's, was known for making exceptional authentic reproductions of furniture, silver, lighting and more from the 1600's through the 1800's. Even their catalog was a work of art. According to the words of Valentine's grandchildren, "The finest woods, the finest finishes, and all handcrafted one precious piece at a time. He believed his legacy was the one piece of furniture that was being worked on at that one particular moment. H.C. Valentine was a man of impeccable taste. A man of unparalleled grace." HIs reproductions are often mistaken for the originals in both quality and method of construction. This impressive corner cabinet is no exception - hand worked wood, rosehead-style nails, chamfered drawer bottoms, hand dovetailing, wavy glass panels and quality throughout. Features an arch glass cabinet with 3 shelves. Below the arched cabinet are 2 drawers with locking mechanisms (no key). Lastly, underneath the drawer are 2 cabinets. Dimensions are 102"H x 62"W x 27"D. In very good condition with light wear normal for its age. JB/KS
