This is an exciting lot of an ORIGINAL Markus Pierson's 1988 "A Man in a Pink Suit". of his Coyote Series. Pierson known for the "Coyote Series" was inspired by the Joni Mitchell song "Coyote" in the mid-1980s.This original piece is signed & confirmed by the artist is dated 1988. The image shows the Coyote characters, in pink suits having drinks at the "Cafe Garbonzo", with a handwritten story about the image at the bottom. Framed in an antique gold tone wooden frame with parchment & green mat. Measures approximately - (frame) 40" x 30" (art) 31.5" x 21". Frame shows appropriate wear due to age. AA.
