#90 • Ansonia 1882 Patent Cast Iron Mantle Clock

Part of Purple Gallery - 2 Estates and More (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $44.00

Status: Sold

Black cast iron Victorian era mantel clock by Ansonia. Patent date on movement is 1882. Hand painted gold gild designs, pretty brass and gold gild toned face. Approx 10"H x 9.5"W - Comes with key and weighted pendulum. Clock has a chime but neither the movement or chime was not working at time of listing. The housing and the movement look to be in good physical condition. The pendulum is "skipping" on the gear, unable to test for functionality beyond observance. ~Az
