Vintage Japanese Pachinko machine, specifically made by Nishijin, one of the most prominent and historic manufacturers of Pachinko machines. What is a Pachinko Machine? Pachinko is a mechanical game originating in Japan, similar to a vertical pinball machine but with gambling elements. It's been a staple of Japanese recreational culture since the early 20th century and is still widely played in dedicated parlors across Japan. The machine is labeled with the Nishijin logo. Nishijin is known for producing high-quality Pachinko machines, particularly in the post-WWII era.Design Style: The style of this machine indicates it is likely from the 1970s or early 1980s. This is a wall unit that has been mounted on 2 x 4's (no back). This is a rare item but it does have condition issues. Power is provided by a 9 volt battery, but it does not power or light up. The top ball reservoir does have a break that will need to be addressed to use. Some balls are included. Rare item that needs love. 33½" T x 17" D x 20½" W. jrb.
