Part of New Years 2026 Super Auction Part 1 (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $539.00

Status: Sold

This is an 1891CC Morgan Silver Dollar featuring the highly collectible 'Spitting Eagle' die variety, minted at the historic Carson City Mint. The 'CC' mintmark on the reverse highlights its limited production run, enhancing its desirability among collectors. The unusual 'Spitting Eagle' detail, found beneath the eagle's beak, is a distinctive die error that makes this coin highly sought-after. An essential piece for numismatists, it captures both a fascinating error and the rarity of the CarsonCity series. Estimated in AU Condition.
