Here are basic instructions to participate in our online auctions.  From our homepage, www.kandbauction.com, choose the auction you would like to view. Once there, click on any 'Register to Bid' button and follow the prompts to set up a new bidder account. You will only have to enter that information one time. Afterwards, you simply click on the Bid button for the item(s) you want to win. The very first time you place a bid, you will be asked for credit card information. All winning bid invoices are run immediately after the auction ends.  Our auctions are open for bidding for 10 days and usually start closing out at 6pm on Tuesdays however that is subject to change but will always be listed in auction details.  How Our Auctions Close K and B Auction utilizes a 'staggered soft close'.  Staggered Close: Lots close in 20 second intervals; they do NOT all close at the same time. For example: At the start of auction closing time (usually 6pm EST), lot 1 will close, then 20 seconds later lot 2 will close, then 20 seconds later lot 3 will close, and so on. The exception to this rule is described next. Soft Close:  If there is any bidding activity in the last 30 seconds of a lot closing, the clock resets to a 30 second countdown. There is no last second 'sniping' as on ebay. This will continue until someone gives up and there is no bidding activity in the last 30 seconds. (We've had bidding wars where a lot may be 'fought over' for several minutes!) Online Bidding Advice Max Bid:  You can place your absolute maximum bid on a lot ahead of time and let the computer bid for you. It will continue to place incremental bids until (if) you are outbid. Useful if you are not able to view the live auction closing. Live Catalog Participation: At 6pm (usually), the catalog goes 'Live'.  In this mode, it is just like you are sitting in the auction house participating with other bidders except you are in the comfort of your own home clicking a mouse instead of raising your hand. The bids are shown in REAL TIME - what you see is exactly current.  There is no need to refresh/reload to see current data.
