#30 • 1923 Peace Silver Dollar with Heat Exposure and In

Part of Yellow Gallery Multi Consignor Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $57.00

Status: Sold

This is a 1923 Peace Silver Dollar showing signs of heat exposure and bearing a handwritten inscription: 'Larry McGuire 12/6/46 Horse Cove.' The coin features the standard 1923 design with Liberty on the obverse and a perched eagle on the reverse. Da mage caused by heat has altered the surface, and the added inscription was engraved post-minting. Its overall condition is affected by both the exposure and the personalization.
