Status: Sold

This item is a Chinese hardwood console table featuring geometric openwork apron designs and hand-carved details on the legs and corners. The table is constructed with mortise-and-tenon joinery, evident from the undercarriage, and displays traditional Chinese motifs along its skirt and legs. The top shows signs of light surface wear, including minor scratches, marks, and delamination, consistent with age and use. The table stands on square legs terminating in low, block feet with subtle floral designs. This piece's craftsmanship and classic form suggest provenance from a 20th-century Chinese workshop, offering collectors an authentic example of traditional furniture design.29½" tallx 59½" long x 14½" deep. jrb.
