Part of Blue Gallery - Tools, Furniture, Knives, Estate Items (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $55.00

Status: Sold

This is a round mahogany tilt-top side table, featuring a classic tripod pedestal base and turned column. The table top displays some surface scratches consistent with use. The tabletop is hinged and can be tilted into a vertical position for easy storage or display, a feature typical of reproduction pieces inspired by 18th- and 19th-century furniture designs. The deep reddish-brown finish highlights the wood grain, and the table stands out as both functional and decorative. It is well-suited for collectors or those interested in traditional furniture forms. Surface wear is present, as shown in the photos. No maker’s marks are visible. 29½" diameter top and 29" tall. jrb.
