Two United States Franklin half dollar coins from 1963. One of the coins bears a 'D' mint mark, indicating production at the Denver Mint. Both coins feature the profile of Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the Liberty Bell on the reverse. These coins are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The coins exhibit noticeable wear and surface discoloration consistent with circulated condition. The denomination of each coin is fifty cents, and both are part of the last production year of the Franklin half dollar series before the introduction of the Kennedy design in 1964.
