The Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm is widely considered one of the most reliable, classic hunting rifle scopes ever produced in its price class. Though Leupold has since replaced the VX-2 line in their modern catalog with the VX-Freedom series, it remains highly sought after on the used market for its excellent low-light performance, crisp glass, and lightweight design. Rugged Waterproofing: Built using an advanced Argon/Krypton gas blend to ensure the scope is entirely waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. Custom Dial System (CDS): Many VX-2 models include or are compatible with Leupold's Custom Dial System, which lets you install a laser-engraved bullet drop turret specifically tuned to your rifle's exact caliber, bullet weight, and velocity.
