Heavy bases on these cast iron book ends. Painted an antique gold gild color. Approx 5.5"H x 6"L each. The 3" width of bases and foam padding put on ends, makes them seem useable as antique window stops, if desired. It would be really pretty to display in window, and allow for a little circulation. Great for displaying cookbooks! In good shape too. ~AZ
