Applause- model AA-14-4- 1970's roundback acoustic guitar with Laminated Sitka spruce top with a natural finish. Deep Lyrachord (composite/fiberglass) bowl back. Unique cast aluminum neck and fretboard. 25.25" scale length with 20 frets. Nut Width: Standard 1 and 11/16 inches. Walnut bridge with a bone nut and saddle. Originally produced in the U.S. (New Hartford, Connecticut) from approximately 1975 to 1979 before moving overseas. Applause acoustic guitars are roundback instruments made by Ovation Guitars, featuring the signature composite bowl-back design of Ovation in a more accessible package. This aged example comes unstrung and untested- finish shows some crazing on top and aluminum needs refinishing. BP
