This is a vintage-style metal advertising sign displaying "Motor City Service" in bold green and yellow hand painted lettering on a red and white background. The front shows weathering and paint loss consistent with age and exposure, giving it a distressed look. The reverse side is unpainted, revealing the construction details. Such signage is commonly associated with automotive service stations or garages and can be appealing to collectors of automobilia or vintage advertising memorabilia. The overall size and mounting holes suggest it was hung for prominent display. 24" tall x 27" long. jrb.
