Status: Available

Five fetish gourds, each featuring a carved wooden human figure mounted on a natural gourd body. Decorative white and black painted motifs embellish each gourd, with every piece displayed on a custom black metal stand. The figures atop the gourds exhibit stylized facial features, and the gourds show signs of age and use. These fetish gourds combine indigenous artistic traditions with symbolic motifs, making the set distinctive for collectors of ethnographic artifacts. All items in this lot are as shown, and are being sold together as a group. jrb.
