Boucherouite shoulder bags are highly unique, one-of-a-kind fashion accessories repurposed from traditional Moroccan Boucherouite textiles. Rooted in Amazigh (Berber) heritage, the Boucherouite technique (derived from the Arabic word for "rag tips" or scrap material) involves hand-weaving upcycled textiles like cotton strips, wool remnants, jersey, and synthetic fibers into vibrant, textured patterns.When translated into bags, these recycled textiles create rich, abstract, and heavily textured bohemian accessories. Because they are entirely handmade by artisans using varied remnants, no two bags are exactly alike. Bags are approx. 10" x 10" plus handles. jrb.
