Pair of metal bookends, each designed with a stylized tribal mask motif. The masks exhibit geometric facial features with pierced eye, nose, and mouth detailing. The metal has a dark, bronze-like finish. The sturdy L-shaped bases suggest functionality along with decorative appeal. These bookends draw inspiration from tribal art forms and would stand out in any space devoted to either books or collectibles. Both pieces show minor surface wear consistent with use. No maker's marks or inscriptions are visible. 6½" tall. jrb.
