This is the kind of item that makes me love what I do. British Sterling and Stag Handled Magnifying Glass. The glass and frame is newer, but it matters not, we're here for the handle. Top collar has the info we need. Hallmark is a SB over HB in a shield which denotes Samuel Biggins & Sons as the maker. Next mark is a crown meaning it was made in Sheffield. Third mark is a lion meaning it's Sterling Silver. The last mark, an Old English lowercase "e" gives us the date of 1897. On the bottom of the handle we have the following markings, "RD308525". Handle is 5.5" long and the stag has a wonderful bend in it that makes it extremely comfortable to hold in your hand. Bottom of handle is covered in beautiful flowers. jrb
