#38D • Bone Wood Drop Line Fishing Reel Tackle Holder Line Winder

Part of Purple Gallery - Antiques & Estate Online Auction (timed auction by K and B Auction)

High bid $120.00

Status: Sold

This is the Coolest "Reel" in this auction! Opinion of course, but still this is an unusual Drop Line by today's standard. This would be a Double drop at that! Neat line winder is you use it for that. The line 'reelers' are Bone. The rest is wood with possibly brass lil rods. The top slides back to reveal tackle storage area. There's a little bit of tackle already included. Like the older bag of tiny fly hooks in original Sinfalta bag! Believed to be English. There is a Patent - No. 12032. Wire line attached. It's So Cool! Approx 3.5"H x 7"W Not often we see Wood and Bone antique Fishing items come through. This is a Collector Item for sure!! There are more fishing - fly fishing items in this auction. Reels are older and untested. ~AZ
