Don't miss this coveted last large-size $1 Silver Certificate from the time when wallets were big enough to hold "Horseblankets" (nickname for large-size notes!). Face features a bold center portrait of George Washington. Measures 7 3/8" x 3 1/8" with classic blue seals and serial numbers. Face bears the statement "one silver dollar payable to the bearer on demand" With an ornate back motif, this was the final design ever to appear on large-size $1 Silver Certificates.
