K and B Auction utilizes a 'cascading soft close'. Lots close one at a time; they do NOT all close at once. For example: At the start of auction closing time, lot 1 will close when bidding is completed. Lot 2 will begin a 20 second count down and will close out if there is no more bidding, then lot number 3 and so on. If there is bidding activity in the last 20 seconds, the clock adds 25 seconds. There is no last second 'sniping' as on ebay. This will continue until someone gives up and there is no bidding activity in the last 25 seconds. (We've had bidding wars where a lot may be 'fought over' for several minutes!) Please note most of the bidding activity takes place in the last few hours and closing will be fast. You always have the option of placing a Max Bid where you can enter your absolute maximum bid on a lot ahead of time and let the computer bid for you. It will continue to place incremental bids until (if) you are outbid. Useful if you are not able to view the live auction closing. Another option - Bid a Specific Amount. You may choose to skip the incremental bidding altogether and place a bid at or near your high end price. Example: You want a tractor you know is worth $30,000. All bidding starts at $1 so the price will keep going up in small increments as other folks bid. You decide to skip all that and go straight to a $20,000 bid. Essentially, this is going to eliminate non-serious bidding competition as the next person is going to be required to bid $20,100. Once the auction is completely over, invoices are processed automatically and will be emailed to you.  We use Sign-Up Genius to make appointments for pick up.
